Using my 2555 to go to the "Ymca of the Suncoast" as it shows on the
screen. However, as we get close, the voice says: "Arriving at Capital Y
Capital M Capital C Capital C of the Suncoast"

I just find that kind of funny>

At least it didn't say "Capitol Y...".

Or Yimka, as some people say (just for fun, I hope).

Off topic, I know, but I couldn't resist sharing this (short)
story.

Years ago I worked at an in vitro diagnostic manufacturer. On the
production floor they used big vats of saline solution. The
production workers called it nackel (it was labeled "NaCl").

I confess: 'nackel' made me cackle...

Too bad you didn't...

I would have thought that they would avoid the "capital" part!!

We had a hilarious time in Europe, the 6555 trying to pronounce
French and German names. It was so distracting, and useless,
that we shut off the volume unless we were on the highways.

OTOH, it cannot properly say the name of our street, either:
Heatherstone Lane. Comes out "He There Stone".
