Basecamp -- How to delete waypoints in just one list

I have been using Basecamp for a few years now and have collected
quite a bit of waypoints and routes that reside in many, separate
lists.

However, there is one thing that I cannot figure our: how to
delete a waypoint in just one list. Everytime I have tried to
detele a waypoint in a list I see the warning:

"Caution: Items will be deleted from ALL lists"

How do I remove it from just one list?

I guess I have answered the question by digging around a
bit more. One "Removes" an item from a list, not "Delete".

It is still a bit of a problem in the sense that 'My Collection'
keeps growing like crazy with the years! I suppose that
there must be some way of exporting the "old" date
out of Basecamp and then deleting them ... have to
try it out. I am not sure about it.
