We have two Nuvis - an olde-but-goodie 760 and a 2495. As AU
prurchases they have CNAUNZ maps, and the 760 has lifetime maps as a
$$ add-on. To date, all updating has worked fine with Garmin Express
and its predecessors.
However, the 2495 was last updated recently to 2016.20, while GE shows
the 760 to (correctly) have 2016.10 and states that it is up to date.
I'm trying to understand why the 2495 gets 2016.20 but Garmin reckon
the 2016.10 release is the latest available for the 760. Am I missing
something?
Additionally, yesterday with the 760 directions were based on "turn
onto 8". This is in suburbia - not highways or interstates - where
(a) street names were always used before, and (b) signage is all using
street names except for a couple of freeways and major arteries - and
in those cases the 760 has previously used NAMES. I am unable to find
any setting that would explain this change of behaviour.
